What is Guardian?

Guardian is a variation of the Dr. EYE project, repackaged into a real CCTV enclosure.
It runs the same hardware and software platform, but the context is different—and that changes everything.

By placing a digital eye inside a surveillance camera shell, Guardian takes on a more reflective, slightly unsettling presence. It’s still small-scale and handmade, but it hints at bigger questions: Who’s watching? Why? And does it matter if it’s even real?

Whether it’s used in an art installation, as a desktop sculpture, or simply as a quiet provocation on your wall, Guardian invites you to look—and be looked at.

Where Dr. EYE is playful and curious, Guardian is quieter, colder, and more loaded.
Its shape and placement make people assume it’s “real.” But it’s not watching—it’s just looking.
